At The Good Egg, we care deeply about privacy. We believe in transparency, and we’re committed to being upfront about our privacy practices, including how we treat your personal information.
This policy explains our privacy practices for thegoodegg.co (which we’ll refer to as the “Site”) as well as information collected + held by The Good Egg when you make a reservation for/visit any of our restaurants, sign up to marketing emails or to our loyalty scheme, purchase anything via our online shop, login to the WiFi service at any restaurant, or express an interest in working with us.
We’ll refer to the Site + our other services (e.g. reservations) as the “Services”. This policy does not apply to the practices of third parties (e.g. our reservations platform, our newsletter CMS et al.) who may also collect or receive data in connection w/ your use of the Services.

• make a booking
• make a party or event booking
• visit a restaurant (preferences, allergies etc.) • make an enquiry
• give feedback
• sign up to marketing emails

When you make a booking to dine with us, as part of the reservation process data is collected including personal information you give us such as your name and email address. We use the third party booking engine ResOS to deliver this service and you will be directed to their website when making a booking online. ResOS collects and stores this data on our behalf, you can find their privacy policy here https://resos.com/feature/gdpr-compliant. When you browse our website, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.
With your permission, we will send you emails about our menus, events and other updates about our restaurants. You may opt out of receiving these messages from us at any time by opting out via the link provided in the marketing email.
When you contact us to make an enquiry or to give feedback, in order to process your request the correspondence we will collect your email address & phone number if this is required.

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.
